What happens to what you type

This site asks a young person some questions and suggests saints they might read about. This page says exactly what happens to what they type. It is written for parents and catechists rather than for lawyers, so it is short and specific.
The short version. No accounts, no email, no tracking, nothing stored. The answers travel in the web address where you can see them, and some of them are sent to two other companies to work out the shortlist. Nothing else leaves.
There is nobody on the other end of question 7. Nothing typed here is monitored, and this is not counselling, medical advice or crisis support.
What this site does not do
- No account, no sign-up. We never ask for an email address.
- No cookies. Nothing is saved in your browser.
- No analytics, no tag manager, no advertising, no tracking pixels.
- Your browser contacts no one but this site. No outside fonts, no CDN, no embedded video, no share buttons.
- Nothing typed into the questionnaire is written into this site’s own logs.
Most of that you can check yourself in about a minute: open your browser’s developer tools on any page here and look at the Network and Storage tabs.
What happens to the answers
The questionnaire has seven questions. Nothing has to be filled in — one answer to question 4 is the minimum needed to search, and every other question is optional and says so.
When the button is pressed, the answers become part of the web address of the results page. They are visible there, in the address bar. That is deliberate: nothing is hidden, and nothing is kept.
To build the shortlist, some answers are sent to two companies.

Names and dates never leave our server. They are matched against our own list of saints, here.
Voyage AI works out which saints are close to what was said. Anthropic writes the one-line explanation under each saint. Question 7 is a free-text box, and what is typed there goes to both companies exactly as written.
What those two companies do with it
Voyage AI. As of 31 August 2026 we have opted out of their training terms. Content sent to them is deleted once it has been processed.
Anthropic. Inputs and outputs are kept for 30 days for safety and security purposes. They are not used to train models. The feedback setting that would share prompts is switched off on our account.
Hosting
The site runs on Netlify. Every request reaches them, including the address of a results page with the answers in it. Netlify keeps request logs under their own terms; we do not set that period and will not state one we cannot stand behind.
Results pages
Results pages carry a noindex instruction, so search engines are asked not to list them.
The answers are still in the address. If a candidate copies that link and posts it somewhere public, the answers go with it. Worth mentioning to a class before they start.
Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console. It reports on how Google’s crawler and search results interact with this site — which pages are indexed, which searches lead here. It sets no cookie, runs no script, and is not connected to these pages in any way a visitor’s browser can see. It tells us nothing about individual visitors.
What this is not
This is not a counselling service, a medical service, or crisis support. Nothing typed here is monitored. There is nobody on the other end of question 7 and nobody who will answer it.
Question 7 asks what a candidate would want a saint to pray for. It is a real question and worth answering honestly — but the answer leaves this site. Please tell candidates plainly: put in only what they would be alright with leaving the page. A young person who needs help needs a person — a parent, a priest, a teacher, or, in an emergency, emergency services.
