About

Who made this.

I’m Chris. I have three boys. The first one is confirmed, the second goes through it this year, and the third a couple of years after that, so this comes around in our house every two years.

When it was time to help with the saint, I went looking for something to read and couldn’t find anything good. Most saint pages are one line with no source, or a long story with no way to tell what’s actually known. So I built this.

Every saint here is written from actual Church documents: the Vatican’s own texts, the Catholic Encyclopedia, the Church’s calendar. The writing is drafted with AI, and then I check it line by line against those documents. If I can’t find a source for something, I leave it out.

That’s why some entries are long and some are a sentence. It’s also why a few well-known saints here don’t list the thing they’re famous for. If the Church never actually declared it, I don’t say it did. I go through each of those saints on the patronages page.

Every entry shows where it came from, including where the sources disagree or where something is uncertain.
